Product Testing
At Peninsula Control Panels, product testing is an integral part of our overall commitment to customer satisfaction. Our methods ensure that customers receive assemblies fully tested to their specifications thereby reducing field installation and start-up times.

As a minimum, each assembly receives a visual inspection of components and workmanship plus a point-to-point continuity and power-on test. We have the ability to develop test procedures and design and build test fixtures to simulate most applications. Customer furnished test procedures and equipment are also incorporated into our final product test.

Product Inspection

All products, whether catalog items or fabricated parts, are subject to receiving, in process and final inspections.

Incoming material and components are inspected on receipt for conformity to the purchasing data. Inspection of fabricated parts also includes adherence to specified tolerances and finishes. Nonconforming material and components do not enter the production process.

In process inspection is performed by production personnel to ensure the assembled product is in conformance with the applicable standards and specifications. All production personnel are trained in inspection techniques to maintain a system of checks and balances during the manufacturing process.

Final inspection, in accordance with our Quality Assurance program and the applicable codes, standards and specifications is performed on all finished products prior to shipment.
